Interviewing the Robotics Team

Questions for the the teams:
  • How has robotics affected your life?
  • Whats is your job in Nerdy and Proud? How does this affect the group?
  • What inspired you to join the group?
   Charles:
  • I got my first robot when I was 5. It's what I do. 
  • I am programer/builder, I help complete the robots. 
  • I love robots! I'm glad I'm here to do it.
   Lexi:
  • Robot club helps me learn more about robots. 
  • I am in the design group and I take pictures of the members at work! 
  • My friends invited me here and I think I was mainly inspired by them!
   Josie:
  • Robotics has changed my life by becoming an after school activity that is not only fun, is also a learning experience.
  • I am part of the design team. I organize the blog and plays, since this is 50% of the grade we do a lot.
  • My dad created the group. I took part because I knew it was going to be fun.
  Guy:
  • I now have a lot more stuff to do after school. It's given me some pressure but it's still fun! 
  • I help everyone with the robots, and  I come up with ideas. I believe I am a leading member of the team. 
  • The fact that my dad created the group the group. I was interested. 
  Jake, a mentor:
  • I have found robots to be interesting and entertaining. 
  • I am a mentor, I help teach the student about robots and programming.
  • I would say its a combo of my children's interest in robots, and mine.
Audrey, the little sister:
  • Well, it helps me with computers.
  • I help in almost every part in the group, I believe I am the future of the team.
  • I don't know. My dad is he creator o the group. I loved the idea o the group and the design.

Friday October 21st Meeting

    The meeting is at the Beaudoin's house. People are at work, and doing things to improve the robots and the blog. The programmers are programming the robots to complete their missions. The builders are building robots to program. The design team is working on the blog to make it bigger and brighter.We have accomplished most of the play! Many people are working on the robots. They aren't as far as we are, though they are catching up. This meeting we hope to accomplish a lot, and have a good time!
